DRUMMER
I started drumming at age seven, which makes it 15 years as of 2007. I also have five years of percussion experience on congas, djembe, bongos, and other miscellaneous percussion. In 1997 when I was 14, my friend Dan and I formed a rock band with some friends called Disarm. We finally decided to call it quits in April of 2006. I have some great memories from the band and nine years was a heck of a learning experience in the business.
MIARS: In the beginning of summer 2007, I formed a new band called Miars. We have fun playing rock, funk, soul, experimental tunes. Our 3 song demo will hopefully be released in the summer of 2008.
I have years of studio and live show experience. (all styles)
I can play to a click track.
I have also professional gear.
DRUM INSTRUCTOR
I have years of experience teaching students from ages seven to ten. I'm also available for private lessons or camp programs.

BAND MANAGER
From the experience I gained in Disarm, I formed Honor Roll Booking & Management. I manage my friends band, Castine.
BOOKING AGENT
During the summer of 2007, I took over booking Thursday nights at Tammany Hall in Worcester, MA.
I also book all the shows all over New England for Castine under Honor Roll Booking & Management.
I love to travel and I would love to tour with a band as their "babysitter". This is an area I'd like to explore soon.

I'm Marcus Ohanesian, this is my section on the internet to showcase my design and music skills. In May 2007, I graduated UMass Lowell with a BFA in Graphic Design. I have been freelancing full-time since then and part-time for the previous 6 years. Take a peek around and feel free to contact me about business opportunities.
- Here are some random facts about me:
I am a resident of Worcester, MA, the home of the yellow smiley face.. - I am the youngest of three children.
- I think the Comic Sans typeface should be removed from everyone's computer, right now.
- I enjoy watching the process of how things evolve into the final product. (band documentaries, "behind the scenes", website construction etc)
- When I ask you "how's it going?", I actually want to know how things are in your life.
- I count how many hours of sleep that I will get before I go to bed.
- I love smoothies and shakes.
- I get most of my ideas while I shower and I remember them thanks to washable crayons.
I've never been on an airplane.
